GRIGORYAN SVETLANA (September 30, 1930, - May 15, 2014, Yerevan) was an Armenian actress, who was awarded People's Artist of Armenia in 1987. Svetlana Grigoryan graduated from Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre Institute (1949). From 1949 she began to work in Paronyan Musical Comedy Theatre of Yerevan. The actress was known for her roles, such as Colombina (“The Two Venetian Twins” by C. Goldoni), Marta (“Eastern Dentist” by A. Ayvazyan), Satenik (“My Mother-in-Law” by V. Kotoyan), Roze (“Taxi, Taxi” by Zh. Ananyan), Balasan (“World of the Flowers” by Zh. Harutyunyn), etc. Bright temperament and natural humour were typical to her play.
